Pamela Jones

Author | Speaker |Registered Nurse | Owner of Sweet Dreams Little Ones
Co-founder of Sweet Dreams Infant Care

For over 20 years, Pam has specialized in postpartum education, lactation support, and neonatal care in some of the top Chicago hospitals. She felt due to shorter hospital stays and staff reductions due to budget cuts, many new parents were not getting the individual education and attention they need.

Pam found while working in various mother and baby units that many new parents were lacking the confidence they needed before taking their newborn home. That is when she decided she wanted to make a difference in these new families’ lives. Because they understand the need for more one-on-one postpartum education and support, Pam and her sister Pat opened Sweet Dreams Infant Care in 2009.

Pam has helped countless families flourish with one-on-one in home, education, and support. She is a Registered nurse, Lactation Counselor and Happiest Baby on the Block instructor. She has been specializing in healthy sleep education for the past eight years, especially with multiples.

Pam is now the proud owner of SweetDreamsLittleOnes.com

Pam has a passion for educating new parents and building their confidence so they can truly enjoy their babies. She gives her clients 24/7 access to her for questions and support.

Pam has two children and one granddaughter, Reese, that she adores and hopes to inspire with her accomplishments.

Pam and Pat were raised in a south suburb of Chicago and came from a large family consisting of six brothers and one other sister. They did not know about business then, but they knew they had a passion for helping families with their babies.

They opened up their award-winning infant care agency, Sweet Dreams Infant Care, while Pam was working in one of the largest women’s hospitals in Chicago. Pam found due to shorter hospital stays and staff reductions, countless new moms were not receiving the one-on-one training they needed to build their confidence before bringing their newborns home. Many of these new moms kept asking Pam to come home with them to provide postpartum education and support. Pam eventually said yes, and that is when their company, Sweet Dreams Infant Care was born.

In the beginning, there was just Pam and Pat caring for new parents and their newborns. But once they found the difference they could make in these new families lives, they found it hard to tell new parents they were not available to help them. So they recruited some other registered nurses and some other experienced moms so they could help more families. Our  team went from a few of us to over 40 caregivers in Chicago, Dallas, and Tampa. Our Sweet Dreams Team has been “Rescuing Sleep-Deprived Families” since 2009!
